In recent years, the State Bar of California approved “Limited Scope Representation,” which allows attorneys to provide legal services on a limited basis. Our Firm provides this limited representation in a number of ways in Mediation and Litigation cases.

In Mediation Cases

Couples seeking Mediation can opt for Limited Representation which enables them to select a Mediation package that meets their specific needs. If your mediated family law matter is straightforward and both parties are in full agreement regarding the important legal issues, perhaps Limited Representation is for you. There are a variety of packages available at different rates based on the amount of Mediator time you use to finalize your case.

In Litigation Cases

The needs of each litigated case vary with the parties and with the attorneys involved in the case. If you are in a case where both parties are in full agreement on the legal issues in a case, you may need minimal attorney involvement beyond advice and form preparation. However, if you are involved in a case where there are law and motion hearings and the other party is not cooperative for example, you may need an attorney to prepare for and represent you at one hearing or for one issue.
